I created this sight for all you folks that love digging in the dirt and watching things grow as much as I do.  I was raised on a farm in rural Virginia and most of my family have been farmers.  Both my Grandfathers, some uncles and cousins.  We always had a huge garden at home in the summer and it was my responsibility to tend it.  I guess I was born with the proverbial "green thumb" because I always had good luck with my projects.  It  gave me a thrill the dig a hole, drop a few dried up little seeds, cover'em up, and like magic, in a week or so you had a plant.  I went from working the  garden to taking care of the family lawn to landscaping projects for my family and did a few projects for friends and neighbors.  When I grew up I left the country and moved to the city to "seek my fortune",  It was a bit of an adjustment.  I then took an interest in house plants, starting with simple things like Pathos Ivy and Spider plants.  Then I got into tropicals and succulents.  Pretty soon my apartment looked like a jungle.  I was always taking cuttings and starting plants for friends and family that just didn't seem to have the "green thumb" I had.  As time past I was able to buy my on home and get back into the gardening and landscaping I enjoy so much.  I hope you enjoy visit to my sight.  Please come back often because I'm constantly adding things and drop me a line a let me know what you think.
